Good afternoon, mister. Good afternoon. I understand your position for the Hillsboro County attorney‘s office. That’s correct. Ok. And, uh, you said you worked for them for 5.5 years, correct? Yes, sir. In that 5.5 years, did you develop strong relationships in your workplace? I’m not sure what you mean by that in the 5.5 years that you worked for the Hillsboro County attorney‘s Office. Did you develop strong relationships in that office? Personal relationships. I would, I would consider it more, uh, work related relationships. Yes. So you’ve never went out to drink or I have? Ok. So, after work outside of work you’ve developed personal relationships. Yes. Ok. Thank you. Um, so it’s fair to say that you’re pretty close to your staff. Yes, I work closely with you. Um, you specialize you, you testify that you, specially, you specialize in tracking and locating witnesses for the, for the attorney‘s office. That’s part of what I do. Yes. And you work for the National Police Department, correct? I did. How long did you work for the police department? 27 years? 27 years. Ok. Thank you. And in that 27 years. Did you have any mental health response training? I believe I did. Yes. And what was that? I don’t recall the specifics. Um, we’re talking some time ago, maybe in the nineties or two thousands in the nineties. Did you do classes? I don’t recall. Did you get any certificates that I don’t recall? Did you complete any courses or programs for mental health responses? I don’t, I don’t believe so. It’s possible, but I just don’t really recall. So you were authorized to tap into these calls from the IC solutions. That’s correct. Ok. And these specific calls, did anyone direct you to which call to focus on? No. Ok. So did you focus yourself on certain calls? I reviewed *** number of calls. Uh, there was many calls that were, um, recorded and, uh, if I heard something that I felt might be relevant to this case, I would annotate it on my report and then report, it would be turned over to the assistant county attorney. Correct. What did you hear in the phone calls that you did select that? Draw your, that drew your attention to your report, primarily *** discussion of the case. Um, there’s ***, there’s *** lot of conversation that goes on in those calls that’s totally unrelated to the case, but anything that related that may relate to the case, uh, usually if there was something that I would put on my report, thank you. And, um, during that first recording, that first phone call was recorded between me and my aunt Rhonda. Um, in that conversation in the very beginning. Did you hear me state? And I’m sorry, I was off in the very beginning. I, I believe you, you said something like that. Yes. Ok. And what did that mean to you? I was off, it didn’t mean anything to me, sir. Ok. So in your investigation me telling my aunt that I’m sorry that when I met you during the time of our grieving, that was what it was referring to. Did you understand what that period was referring to or did you not understand it? I did not understand that. I knew that it appeared that uh some of that conversation did relate to what occurred on October 12th. So some of that. Ok. So just *** totality of that conversation was what you selected because it was related to the case. Yes. Ok. And during that call, did you so happen to here that that other call? I mean that other person on the phone said they shouldn’t put him away because he’s sick. I believe there was something along those lines. I couldn’t tell you exactly what the wording was. And in my, in my side of the conversation, we were conversing about some of the mass shootings that were in the media at the time and that comparing those people, me and my aunt were comparing those people to my situation. And saying that those people weren’t necessarily insane. Those people were necessarily stupid. So, did you remember that part of the conversation in the beginning? I don’t remember that wording that you’re saying the exact wording. All right, y’all. Oh, excuse me, Mr Servio. If I played that part, would you be able to recall it? You, may I please play that part for Mr Cerio? All right, please play that again. We need to exhibit your orders to come. You call your friend. The don see that’s just to get out except you. So do you want me to just transport through the like the robot voice and then put it call number? No, I don’t know. I just feel like, hey, hey, how you doing? How you doing, baby? I’m all right. You know, I love you and I wish you, I love you. I, I’m sorry, I was so like off I couldn’t even speak to you the way I wanted to. I missed you. So I’ve seen you in so long but to do the effects are just crazy, you know, like the time because I don’t know, you know. No, I don’t know. I just feel like that, that, you know, better. And that was just that, that, that it was just back to back to back to back disrespect, back to back to no, nobody saying that still they know there’s no even no connection between me and, and Louie at all right now. The media is just making me seem like some big old super thug down gang. So that would have been, I know, I mean, some people who didn’t know I had went up to New York. He said, oh to the church? Oh my God, they put mo, I knew they shouldn’t put mo, I think, you know, it does, that, does that have *** fresh memory of the phone call conversation? Ok. And at that time, did you have *** discussion with the Hillsboro County attorney‘s office? That it was mental health issues? Conversed on that recording. I don’t know if I had *** conversation to that extent. I did, I put some indication in my notes in my report throughout, uh, that there was conversation about medication, things like that at any time. Did you make *** report that I should be referred to mental health? No, I did not. Ok. Um, in post phone calls, how many times did you yourself recall? Do you recall hearing me say the word? Crazy. How many times do you think? I said the word? I don’t know. Was it 10 times less than 10, more than 10? That’s why I know. I, I believe you used the word. I don’t remember the exact context of it. It’s possible that I use it more than 10 times. I don’t know. Not sure. I’m not sure. I don’t want to play the whole thing over it. I just, no, I want to make it, make it clear. Uh That’s an exhibit that has been played to the jury, their hearing of it and their recollection of it is what will control, comment by *** witness, what was said or wasn’t said, doesn’t control what was actually said, the date birth? Ok, thank you. Sure. Now, on the second call, the second call was exhibit number 39 I believe. Ok. And um, that was *** phone call with *** female by the name of Sophia, uh, which is my cousin. So, in that phone call, did you hear in the very beginning of that call in your investigation? Did you hear in the very beginning of that call that the facility may be shallow with handcuffs and shackles? Yes. And did you report that to any police department or in Hillsboro County attorney‘s office? No, I didn’t. Why do you report that as ***, uh, objection? Relevance, relevance to him reporting that as *** chronic, I’ll strike the question. That objection is sustained in that call. Did you recall me saying that I’m lost in that phone call? I don’t recall it. So you’re not too familiar with the call? You just know, I don’t know everything that was said, calls just took it down. There were 10 minute calls, there’s *** lot that was said, I don’t recall everything that was said. That’s fair. And, um, in your report, did you investigate any online social media names that I went by? Yes. Ok. And can you give me *** description of what that investigation led to? There was information that came out during the, uh, phone call, some of the phone calls, uh, that you had some, uh, business interests involving, uh, rap music and you had some music that, uh, you had posted apparently on youtube and other things. I think you actually, uh, maybe on itunes. Um, there was conversations about, uh, what the price prices would be for people who want to download those videos. Um, things of that nature. Ok. Thank you. And, uh, was any of that criminal, any of the phone calls made in statements made in the phone calls? Was any of it criminal? I’m not sure you’re asking was any, what criminal was there any crimes committed in these phone calls being made by statements, communication, contact with the parties? Was there any crimes committed through these phone calls? Nothing I’m aware of. Thank you. And, um, at the end of both calls, I did say I love you to both parties. I believe so. Ok. You know, do you remember when I told the call, the call, uh, the other line, Sophia that I was not trying to get into trouble? Maybe at the end of the call, I, I don’t specifically you call it. Ok. So what part of these phone calls other than the, the, the relation to the case were so severe that you didn’t consider it *** private conversation between family members that were grieving. I’m not sure I understand your question. Ok. So these phone calls were recorded around approximately what day? Uh, one of them was on the 28th of October and the second one was on the 29th of October. And the date of this alleged incident was when October 12th, so 16 days apart. But is it fair to say that me and my family were still grieving at that time? Protection are negative and relevant again, what’s the, what’s the relevance of whether he knows whether your family was grieving or not? Based on the testimony that’s related to him just retrieving those times that would go to my mental and my mental state of mind at the time. All right, I’m gonna sustain the objection. Ok. That objection is sustained. So my last question, Mr Terrill would be uh you had some mental health teaching in the past. So my question is the two phone calls that you recorded, would you say that I had some type of mental health illnesses suffering at the time of these phone calls to the foundation? It’s not qualified to be an expert. There hasn’t been any foundation to be laid that he’s qualified to issue any opinion, especially based on the minimum testimony regarding his, I think there was, he’s not *** mental health expert. So I have no further questions. Thank you. All right. Thank you, New York. Thank you. Your honor.
