GOVERNOR DESANTIS SUSPENDED WORRELL LAST MONTH, ACCUSING HER OF INCOMPETENCE AND NEGLECT OF DUTY. AND SPECIFICALLY HIS EXECUTIVE ORDER SAYS SHE GOES EASY ON CRIMINALS AND JUVENILE OFFENDERS BY NOT SEEKING LONG PRISON TERMS FOR THEM. She’s asking the Florida Supreme Court to reverse her suspension. “Although he proclaims to be a man of law and order, he has only challenged the Constitution and pushed it to the extremes, and he has created chaos instead of order,” Worrell said. Worrell addressed a disparity in prison admission rates across various judicial circuits.
